Trippics collects your information when you access our app or website ("SERVICES") and through other interactions and established communications with us. Services are provided by TRIPPICS SERVIÇOS DIGITAIS LTDA. ("TRIPPICS") and this Privacy Policy applies to information collected and used by TRIPPICS. Your privacy is very important to TRIPPICS. Thus, we have developed a Privacy Policy which governs the way we obtain, use, disclose, transfer and store your information. Please check our privacy practices and let us know if you have any questions.



This Privacy Policy relates to individuals located in Brazil ("TRAVELERS") who use our SERVICES to request guided tours offered by independent third parties tour guides, travel agencies or tour operators ("TOUR GUIDES"). This Policy does not apply to any collected information related to independent third parties tour guides, agencies, operators and other entities that use Trippics under license. Depending on your interaction with our SERVICES (TRAVELER or TOUR GUIDE), the corresponding Privacy Policy will apply.



2.1 - We collect information that you send us directly, for instance, when you create or modify your account, request guided tours, contact the customer service or communicate with us. The information may include: name, gender, e-mail, phone, profile picture, payment method, credit card information, requested services and other information you choose to provide. You may be asked to provide your personal information at any time while in contact with TrippicsTrippics may share this personal information and use it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Trippics can also combine this personal information with other information to provide and improve our services, app, content and advertising.

2.2 - Trippics takes precautions, including administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your personal information against loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

2.3 - Trippics helps you keep your personal information accurate, complete and updated. We will retain your personal information for the necessary period to meet the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.



When using our SERVICES, we collect information about you in the following categories:

3.1 - Location Information: When using our SERVICES, we collect your accurate location data through Trippics app, in order to be able to show all TOUR GUIDES available on the map. You must grant Trippicsaccess to your device’s operating system location services.

3.2 - Transaction information: We collect all transaction information related to your use of our SERVICES, including the type of service requested, the date and time of providing the service, the amount charged, and other details.

3.3 - Device information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including hardware model, operating system and version, names and files versions, preferred language, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, device motion information, and network information.

3.4 - Call and SMS Data: SERVICES are intended to facilitate communications between TRAVELERS and TOUR GUIDES. In order to provide a better service, we receive data on calls and SMS messages, both parties’ telephone numbers and SMS messages content.

3.5 -  Registration Information: When using our SERVICES, we collect server logs that can include information such as device’s IP address, access to dates and times, app characteristics or viewed pages, app blocking, and other system activities, browser type, and site or third-party service used before interacting with our SERVICES.



Trippics can get information from other sources and associate them with information gathered through SERVICES, such as:

4.1 - If TRAVELER chooses to link, create or access your account via Facebook, we may receive information about you or your connections from our website or app’s API. You will be using personal information you have already provided to Facebook, in this case the information we can access depends on your privacy settings on Facebook.

4.2 - If you also interact with SERVICES as a TOUR GUIDE, we can combine or associate the information collected from you as TRAVELER.



Most platforms for mobile devices (iOS, Android etc.) have certain types of data that cannot be accessed without TRAVELER consent. These platforms have different authorization systems to obtain user consent. iOS platform will alert the first time Trippics requests authorization to access certain data types, and will allow TRAVELER to agree or not with the request. Android devices will notify user on the authorizations requested byTrippics before using it for the first time. Using the app will serve as TRAVELER consent.



Trippics may use information collected about you to:

6.1 - To provide, maintain and improve SERVICES: to facilitate payments; receipts delivery; provision of requested services (as well as related information); new resources development; support for TRAVELERS and TOUR GUIDES; security features development; user authenticaton, product updates and administrative messages;

6.2 - Perform internal operations: Operations to prevent fraud and abuse in relation to SERVICES; operational troubleshooting and software errors; data analysis execution, testing and research; monitoring and analysis of usage trends and activity;

6.3 - Send or facilitate communications between TRAVELER and TOUR GUIDE: to warn about estimated time of arrival at the meeting point; to warn about meeting point change;

6.4 - Send messages about: products; services; promotions; TRIPPICS news and events, when permissible and in accordance with applicable local laws; contests, raffles and other promotional registration ensuring compliance with the related award. We may use your information to contact you regarding your opinion about our services, and for important notices, such as communications about purchases, changes to terms, conditions and policies. As these informations are important to your interaction with Trippics, you cannot opt out of receiving such communications.

6.5 - Customize and improve SERVICES, including provide or recommend resources, content, social connections, referrals and ads.



We may share information we collect about you as described in this Policy or as described at the time of collection or sharing, in the following ways:

7.1 - With TOUR GUIDES: so that they can provide the requested SERVICES. Data can be shared, such as: name; picture (if any); TRAVELER average rating provided by hired TOUR GUIDES; and meeting points for tours guided by TOUR GUIDE;

7.2 - With Third Parties: to provide the requested service through partnership or promotional offer proposed by Trippics or third parties. We may use third party companies and individuals to facilitate our SERVICE, perform activities related to SERVICE, including but not limited to, maintenance services, database management, data analysis and features improvement. These companies or individuals have access to your personal information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to use or disclose such information for any other purpose;

7.3 - With the general public: if TRAVELER send content to an open forum such as blog comments, social media posts or other resources available through our SERVICES that are visible to the general public. Please note that sending comments and feedback regarding Trippics and TOUR GUIDES services authorize us to publish and use such comments and feedback on our app and any marketing or advertising campaign. To do so, we will identify TRAVELER through account name and profile picture (if any);

7.4 - With third parties with whom you choose to let us share information: in case other apps or sites that integrate with our API or SERVICES, or to which our API or SERVICES are integrated.



Your information may be shared:

8.1 - With vendors, consultants, marketing partners and other service providers who need to access information to execute jobs on behalf of TRIPPICS;

8.2 - In response to any information request made by any competent authority, if TRIPPICS understands that disclosure complies or is required under the laws, regulations or applicable legal processes;

8.3 - With law enforcement, government or third parties authorities if TRIPPICS understands that TRAVELER actions are inconsistent with respect to the provisions in TRAVELER Terms of Use, or to protect the rights, property or safety of TRIPPICS or others;

8.4 - In connection or during merging negotiation, company assets sale, consolidation or restructure, financing or acquisition of any TRIPPICS business, in whole or in part, by another company;

8.5 - If, upon notice, TRAVELER agree to share them;

8.6 - In aggregated and / or anonymous form which cannot be used to identify TRAVELER.



9.1 - Reviews about guided tours provided by TOUR GUIDES may also be shared with them in order of knowledge, and any eventual contact between TOUR GUIDE and TRAVELER, in order to solve a problem. NOTE: The comments and notes assigned by TRAVELER while evaluating your tour should contain solely the experience with the TOUR GUIDE in question.

9.2 - Technical difficulties, complaints, or suggestions for Trippics should be directed to TRAVELER appropriate Customer support channel.

9.3 - Any comment or review sent to Trippics shall not: (a) contain any defamatory, obscene or offensive material; (b) promote violence or discrimination; (c) infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties; (d) break any legal right owned by a third party (such as a duty of confidentiality); (e) promote illegal activity or invade third parties privacy; (f) give the impression that they are originated by Trippics; (g) be used to impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with another person.

9.4 - The prohibited acts listed in Clause 9.3 above are non-exhaustive.

9.5 - Trippics reserves the right to edit or even delete comments and information that violate the terms cited in the above clauses.




SERVICES can integrate social sharing features and other related tools, which allow you to share actions related to our SERVICES with other apps, websites or media and vice versa. The use of these resources allows information sharing with your friends or gengeral public, depending on the settings established with the social sharing service. Please refer to the privacy policies related to social sharing services for more information on how to manage the data you provide or share using them.



We may allow third parties to provide Trippics audience measurement services and analysis to disclosure of online ads on behalf of Trippics, as well as track and report the performance of these ads. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, SDKs and other technologies to identify TRAVELER device when visiting the site, and/or using SERVICES or when visiting other sites and services online.



12.1 - Account Information: You can correct your account information at any time; to do so, access your account via app. If you want to cancel your account, send an email to Note that in some cases we may retain certain information about you, as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, to the extent permitted by law.

12.2 - Access Rights: TRIPPICS will comply with TRAVELER requests related to access, correction and / or deletion of personal data stored in accordance with applicable law.



We ask permission to your device to collect accurate location data via app by the permission system used by the operating system of your mobile device. If you initially enable information collection, you can later disable this permission by changing localization settings on your mobile device. However, this option will limit the usability of certain features offered on SERVICES. In addition, disabling Trippics data collection related to the exact location of your device will not limit our ability to collect route information via TOUR GUIDE device, or the ability to deduce the approximate location of your IP address.



SERVICES contain links to other sites and third parties online services. If you choose to visit another site or online service by clicking a link, you are redirected to the site or third parties online service. The fact thatTrippics redirects you to a website or online service is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of affiliation with that party, nor is it an endorsement of its policies or practices of privacy or information security. We do not exercise control over online sites and third parties services, and advise TRAVELER to read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use before providing any information or use other sites or services.



We also ask permission to your device for data collection and contact information synchronization via app, by the permission system used by the operating system of your mobile device. If you initially enable information collection, iOS users can disable this permission after changing contact settings on mobile device. Android platform does not offer this configuration option.



You can opt out for not receiving promotional messages by following the instructions contained in those messages. If you choose not to receive them, yet we can send promotional communications, for example, regarding your account, requested services or related to any ongoing business.



Our SERVICE is not directed to children under 18 years of age, unless accompanied by parents or guardians. Trippics doesn’t intentionally collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have obtained personal information from anyone under 18, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.



We may amend this Policy occasionally. If there are significant changes relating to the way we treat your personal or the provisions present on this Policy, we will forward a notification through SERVICES or other means such as email. Your continued use of SERVICES following a notification means TRAVELER consents to the changes. We suggest you check back Policy periodically to check the latest information regarding Trippicsprivacy practices.

19.2 - Trippics can update its Privacy Policy periodically. If we make any policy change in material terms, we will post a notice in our app, along with the updated Privacy Policy.
